Will It Blend?
Topic: Uncategorized| 1 Comment »David and I were looking at gloves today at Costco. They were lightweight and perfect for hiking which is what caught my attention. They were sewn out of special fabric that makes it possible for the wearer to operate touch screen devices…which is what caught David’s attention.
Still, even I could appreciate this magic and immediately shared it with a group of strangers standing next to us. Well, it turns out it was Tom Dickson and his family. I did not recognize him but David, of course, did. The “Will It Blend?” guru is very nice. We chatted for about 15 mins about the blender business, cars, and the Czech Republic (he is going there in 2 weeks).
I told him I was looking into buying a new blender for Christmas but have not decided between BlendTec and Vitamix. 
He then gave me his business card and told me to call him next week and he’ll get me a blender.
Am very excited. He is seriously an extremely pleasant man.
Other news…
Halloween decorations are down. He house looks so empty and sad. I did put up Thanksgiving decor but how can a pilgrim compare to a giant spider or an Indian to an owl? Waaaaah.
Also reorganized the pantry–have now all grains and supplies in big glass jars. Very cute.
Well, gotta get dinner ready before the game LSU v. Alabama.
