David and I dogsat for the last 3 weeks.
I adore Sumo.
But having Sumo around gave a tiny glimpse of what it will be like having a baby.
First of all, I had to work my schedule around Sumo. I had to come home during the day to let him out and give him some loving. Not too demanding but rather inconvenient at times. Now, imagine the “inconvenience” of a baby that you cannot leave alone for hours at a time. Hmmm.
Also, Sumo, while cute, is not exactly an intellectual giant. So, he would consistently drag his food onto the carpet and make a mess. Drove me crazy and couple of times really put me on the edge. Now, imagine spaghetti covering my child from head to toe plus everything within throwing radius of her plate. Hmmmm.
AM I READY FOR THIS????
I love her so much.

On Wednesday the Blueberry and I went swimming after a two-week break. I thought it was business as usual until I tried to put on my swimming suit…It covered my tummy just fine but shockingly ran out of fabric right under my boobies. Aaaah. Clearly a problem.
I popped into the shower and started stretching the suit under running water. After 5 minutes I got it on but the plunging neckline would have made JLo blush.
Gosh, I need to buy a new swimming suit or start charging onlookers.
The other news is…
I have been approved to become a US citizen!!!! I had my final interview today. My Pledge of Allegiance ceremony should be some time in May. Very excited.
David has been working till midnight for the last two weeks. Not sure who is more tired of it–if me or him. But, tomorrow night we are coloring Easter Eggs for our date night. Yey.
Lots of love,
Sandy
